Wingfield

Wingfield’s Progress – The Gala – A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

From the meal preparation at St. Alban’s and Knox… To Walt’s last bow… It was an evening of laughter, good cheer…and yummy pie!

The pleasures of the evening were only matched by the funds raised, more than $13,000 to add to our OMB coffers.

For this we have dozens of people to thank and applaud! Click here for details…

CRC has done it again!  We’ve nabbed one of Canada’s greatest performers to come to our community to support our fund-raising efforts as we prepare for ‘OMB 2018!’  You won’t want to miss this gala evening – The Nylons wowed us with music.  This year Walt Wingfield will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter, laughter about the world we live in where the city dreamers meet the weathered farmers and the two groups find ways to come together to meet community challenges!

On February 17, 2018 Canada’s own Walt Wingfield (www.wingfieldfarm.ca) comes, by special arrangement for the first time, to Halton Hills in a Gala Presentation at the Acton Town Hall Centre, a heritage gem of a theatre in the heart of Acton.  Hearty country suppers in two neighbouring landmark churches, Knox Presbyterian and St. Alban’s Anglican, will precede the theatrical performance, enhancing the country theme of the play.
